Gifts in Kind

An individual or business can support Dyslexia Action by giving a gift.  There are a many items that are essential to the running and charitable work of Dyslexia Action, by giving these as a donation it will enable us to reduce overheads and increase our fundraising potential.

Here are just a few examples:

  • Prizes for local centre fundraising activities
  • Auction prizes for our Dyslexia Action Awards Dinner and other speacial events
  • Venues for fundraising events and regional meetings
  • Office furniture for our Head Office and centres
  • Technical equipment to be used for teaching and administration purposes

Case study from Hamelin Paperbrands LimitedHere is how Hamelin Paperbrands Limited helped us by donating a Gift in Kind

“Donating a Gift in Kind is a great way for businesses to contribute to worthwhile causes such as Dyslexia Action. During an inventory we found a few pallets of discontinued notebooks and promotional gifts, instead of sending them out to be recycled we decided to find a charity that would benefit from these items. As my father suffers from dyslexia I was keen to donate them to Dyslexia Action, the projects and services they offer in the community are incredibly valuable to the children and adults they support. The fundraising team was extremely helpful and made the process quick and easy, they have even followed up by sending us pictures of the promotional gifts being used during a recent event. We will certainly be donating to them again in the future.” Rebecca Fairbairn, Hamelin Paperbrands Limited.
