The course covers the combined content of the CCET and AAC courses. 

Those who complete this course will be awarded both the Test User: Educational Ability/Attainment (CCET) and entered on the BPS Register of Qualified Test Users (RQTU), plus the Certificate of Psychometric Testing, Assessment and Access Arrangements (AAC) recognised by the Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ).

Anyone who wishes to enhance their assessment skills, e.g.:

  • Highly Qualified Teaching Assistants

This course will allow you to:

  • Qualify to select, administer, score and interpret a wide range of educational psychometric tests
  • Gain practical and effective assessment skills
  • Gain credibility in the eyes of professionals, the British Psychological Society, parents and those being assessed
  • Save on your SEN budget by reducing your dependence on support services
  • On successful completion you will be qualified to write access arrangements for public examinations as listed above

The CCET part of the course can be completed by a 3-day intensive attendance option or by distance learning. The AAC part is completed online. A minimum number of clients is required for the intensive course to run. 

3-day intensive + online AAC extension - £2150 (non-residential) or £2350 (residential).

The online course is highly accessible and makes full use of the Real Training campus online learning platform.This means that you can learn and progress at a pace and time to suit.
