Liverpool Marathon 2011

The brand new RunLiverpool Marathon is taking place on 9th October 2011. The old Mersey Marathon was last staged in the city in 1992 and is now set to return on a brand new and inspirational course. 

The 26.2 miles will take in both sides of the River Mersey with this carefully considered route aiming to deliver a first class race day experience for runners and spectators, so come along to see, enjoy and experience Wirral and the fantastic Liverpool city centre.

Big thank you in advance to Martin Bamping who is leading a teamrunning to support the It's ME! Learning Fund at Dyslexia Action Centres in Liverpool and Wilmslow.

Martin has run in aid of Wilmslow Dyslexia Action centre before and his continued support is so valuable to the centre.

Watch out for next year's race taking place on Sunday 14th October 2012. You can follow in Martin and the team's footsteps by getting yourself a place in what will be a truly fabulous day of huge crowds, glorious friendship, fun, achievement for every single participant and massive fundraising.
