Congratulations Tom Pellereau!

18 July 2011

The 7th series of The Apprentice was won by dyslexic inventor Tom Pellereau! The good guy from Arlesford has openly discussed the positive effect dyslexia has had on his life. He said “I was in some ways very lucky because from a young age I was very bad at certain things, so that meant I was always going to do science, engineering and design. I discovered I could do things better than other people. If I had an idea, I could visualise it in my brain and spin it around. Not everyone can do that. Dyslexia for me has always been a massive positive."

The friendly winner was on the losing team 8 times during the 3 month series however as the show progressed he became a very likely winner. Lord Sugar admitted to valuing Tom's experience in creating new products for market and successfully selling them, he also said that he had a gut feeling that Tom was the ideal candidate. This is great news and a real triumph for all those with dyslexia.
